AMERICAN SPEED ASSOCIATION (ASA) PARTNERS WITH MOTORSPORTS MARKETING, LLC IN 2008 DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 1, 2008) – On the heels of Dennis Huth, 17-year NASCAR executive and current president of Racing Speed Associates, acquiring all rights to the American Speed Association (ASA) this week, it was also announced today that Huth will waste no time in partnering with Motorsports Marketing, LLC in 2008 to handle his ASA national public relations and marketing campaigns. Motorsports Marketing, LLC, with offices in Upland, CA, is owned and operated by Jay Rutherford, president and series director of ASA Speed Truck Challenge (ASA STC) and Bill McCloud, National Marketing Director for ASA Speed Truck Challenge. Besides taking on the new tasks associated with Motorsports Marketing, LLC, Rutherford has been growing the leading ASA-sanctioned premier racing series Speed Truck Challenge since 1996, when it started with just a few trucks and events and has turned into a nationally recognized traveling professional truck series with over 70+ teams, racing on ten highly regarded oval and road-course tracks and is capping off being on regional television over the past several years with a 16-race national schedule on the ION MEDIA NETWORK in 2008.
